This is a vintage 1950s Prima New York black dress and a hat that came with it when I bought it. The material feels like Nylon, or some other synthetic material, and there are three layers to the dress: the outer layer with lace accents, tulle, a tan/brown layer. There are a few small holes on the bottom of the dress, and one 1in or so tear near the side zipper. The tag says size 16, which would have been plus sized in the 1950s. Today, the dress is closer to a modern size 12. The hat is very delicate, and also appears to Nylon or something similar.
