This uncirculated 10 Swiss franc banknote is a standard circulation note that is dated 2017 and signed by President of the Swiss National Bank Jean Studer and Director Fritz Zurbrugg. It is part of the 9th series of banknotes issued by the Swiss National Bank that was designed by Manuela Pfrunder, had the theme “The Many Facets of Switzerland”, and won the 2019 “Best New Banknote Series” award at the High-Security Printing EMEA Conference in Malta. The yellow note is made of a Durasafe composite, is vertically oriented on both sides, and measures 123 mm x 70 mm. Its obverse side features the Swiss Cross, a conductor’s hand holding a baton, a time zone motif over a globe, and an underprint with a clock face pattern. Its reverse side depicts a Swiss railroad tunnel, an expanded view of a watch’s movement, a holographic security stripe with 10, and the Swiss railroad network lines.
