It has two really cool blue butterflies that look like they're resting on a branch with small white rocks on the bottom. If you push a button that's on the bottom half, on it's side then you turn on the LED lights that are at the top of the base but the bottom of the glass cylinder. It's gently used but works perfectly, no scratches, dents, breaks, carvings, etc. in it so it looks close to being brand new. The light isn't super bright, but it is bright enough so that you can see just enough in the room to move around but not bright enough for it to keep you awake all night. IT DOES TAKE 3 'AA' BATTERIES, WHICH ARE NOT INCLUDED (unless I forget about taking them out).
