1973 Italian blazer dress with vine print. I bought this in Rome, Italy in a vintage shop. I had tried in on there and liked it, but once I got it home, it just didn't fit as well as I would like. This is a Swan Original made in Italy. It features cute gold lined buttons and a brown poly-blend liner that doubles as a ruffle at the bottom. It is a vintage women's EU size 48, which would fit about a US 4 or small US 6 nowadays. There were some small holes in the right sleeve and one in the right, back shoulder. Someone had tried to stitch it with gold thread. So, I continued that as I thought it added a unique flare and reminded me of the Japanese practice of Kintsugi. However, for 1973, I think she still looks decent! The sleeves are 19 inches in length, the dress is 33 inches in length and the bust is 14 inches across flat (28 inches around total). It is 90% wool (doesn't feel itchy even on my sensitive skin) and 10% poly blend. I did launder it as well!
