This beautiful old rustic cedar box was my grandmother's. It appears to be amateurly constructed, as the bottom feet are not all uniform. I think that's what gives it extra charm. :) It is lacquered with a glued felt insert. It does not close flushly. Maybe because the inexperienced crafter, or due to swelling over the years. It is from NE Texas, so very humid conditions for most of it's life. It's a gorgeous piece that would look fantastic just out as deco, but obviously useful for stashing goodies as well!
