The Return of the King Author: J.R.R. Tolkien These books were bought new for me years ago. I held onto them and never read them. My mother gave them to me as a gift and because of that, in each of the books on the first page, she wrote a note to me. Each book has wear on the slipcover of creasing and fading from storage. All inside pages of the three books are in like-new condition (except the note written to me as shown in pictures). There is a dirt line on the outside edges of the pages for The Fellowship of the Ring. In the same book, on the inside dust jacket there is a movie stub that is attached. For The Two Towers, there is more creasing of the dust jacket at the top and inside edge. Comes from a smoke-free and pet-free home.
