November Black Friday Sale - Emerald and Iron Pyrite and also Amethyst and Emerald Rocks (very stran - Ties
I came across these two rocks while hiking in Western North Carolina. I have found emeralds, amethyst, iron pyrite, and gold in the past, but never the same two/three combined together in the same rock. I also found a amethyst/emerald w/(maybe a hint of gold) rock which looks like it is embedded in calcite, and also a large emerald embedded with iron pyrite. I believe these are very strange combinations because I have never seen it before. I don't know if there was a vein of emerald I walked over and these rocks just happened to form together millions of years ago or what, but I thought they were pretty awesome anyway and kept them.
