Vintage Patchwork Quilt Transportation Cars Boats Bus Balloon Train 84" x 60" Twin Intricate, hand-pieced patchwork quilt circa 1980s that features various forms of transportation including a covered wagon, the KITT car from Knight Rider, submarine, rocket, John Deere tractor, VW Beetle, tank, construction equipment, hot air balloon, motorcycle, school bus, airplane, Fisherman's Wharf trolley car, horse, cruise ship etc... The original quilter also handstitched details onto the individual squares (please see photos). There are 24 total squares - 4 squares across and 6 squares high. The back is very neatly finished (PICTURE 6). GOOD PRE-OWNED CONDITION. THERE ARE A FEW SMALL PAINT MARKS, DISCOLORATION MARKS, (PICTURES 12-15), SOME LOOSE THREADS AND SOME YELLOWING FROM AGING.
